Day 62. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Light in Purple/Liquid Light

Today I'm reviewing the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24H Cream Gel Shadow (otherwise known simply as Color Tattoo) in Light in Purple/Liquid Light.
I think the official name of this shade is Light in Purple (it's what it is on the product) but I have seen it called Liquid Light in some stores.

The Maybelline Color Tattoo in Light in Purple is a long lasting cream eyeshadow in blue-based gray with a strong shimmer that in some light appears (slightly) purple. The purple sheen appears most strongly in the pan.
On my medium-light skin it appears mostly grey, but it is really luminous and bright.

It has a smooth consistency, it applies easily on the eye, without tugging. It is buildable: in the swatches below you can see the application with one swipe (top right corner)  and with two swipes of color (bottom left corner).

It can be applied easily with a finger or with a synthetic flat brush; it also blends easily.

On my fairly oily lid, this cream shadow tends to crease in about 3 hours, with a primer it lasts all day without creasing or fading (I can't vouch for the claimed 24h though).
On a person with dry skin and lid it may works fairly well without a primer and last all day.

If you like bright, shimmery light colors and quick shadow application (and don't mind using a primer with a cream shadow), this may be the shade for you.

I'll try and do a look using this product soon! Stay tuned!
